For many years, I felt a deep frustration with the way alternative health practitioners were represented, or more accurately, hidden, on mainstream platforms. While it’s incredibly easy to find a dentist, doctor, or physiotherapist through a quick online search, finding the right holistic practitioner often felt like trying to locate a needle in a haystack.
I was relying on algorithms that favored popularity over relevance. Many gifted practitioners didn’t have websites, weren’t active on social media, or simply weren’t visible online at all. Even if I knew exactly what I was looking for, say, a kinesiologist nearby or someone trained in Emotion Code,I couldn’t find them. More often than not, I ended up depending on word of mouth or digging through forums and articles, spending hours searching and still coming up short.
Over the years, I sought the help of many alternative healers to support my physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. Each experience was powerful and transformative,but the process of finding these practitioners was unnecessarily hard. That’s when the vision for Healer Map was born.
I dreamed of a global directory that would make it easy to find the right healer for your needs, no matter where you are. A space where you could search by modality, location, or even by the type of issue you’re dealing with, whether that’s emotional trauma, chronic pain, energetic blockages, or spiritual misalignment.
I held onto this idea for nearly a decade. It wasn’t until the end of last year that I finally had the funds to bring it to life. With the support of a gifted spiritual web designer from Switzerland, Healer Map finally became a reality. She intuitively understood the energy and purpose behind this project and helped me transform a long-standing dream into a functional, beautiful platform.
Healer Map is more than just a directory, it’s a movement. It’s about making healing more accessible, honoring the work of alternative practitioners, and helping people find the support they need in a simple and intuitive way.
